A retired HBO exec says he arranged a sweet $2.5 million deal between his former bosses and a horror film company — only to get stiffed out of a $245,000 fee.
Stephen Scheffer — who worked for HBO for 27 years before retiring as a president of its Film Programming, Video & Enterprises division — says After Dark Films still owes him for his work brokering an agreement between it and HBO over the flicks, according to his new Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.
After Dark declined comment to The Post on the lawsuit.
