Topps says ‘Sorry’ after Shane Bieber-Justin Bieber misprint

Topps had to say “Sorry” over this hilarious misprint.

The card company mixed up Cleveland Indians pitcher Shane Bieber with pop star Justin Bieber on the back of Shane’s baseball card. Shane’s name is correct at the top, but in a blurb he’s referred to as Justin.

Shane called the blunder to the company’s attention on Twitter by taking a photo of the card and tagging the company in the tweet, writing “Nice” with a smiling emoji. The company did not disappoint with their response, referencing one of Bieber’s hit songs, “Sorry.”

“Is it too late to say sorry?” Topps answered.

Shane Bieber, who earned All-Star Game MVP honors last month, has a 3.31 ERA this season after throwing a two-run complete game on Sunday, his league-leading third complete game. He’s 11-4 with 182 strikeouts in 149 1/3 innings.
