2 children killed amid stabbing suspect’s wild flight in stolen police cruiser
A stabbing suspect on the run from cops stole a police cruiser near Dayton, Ohio, and slammed into several other cars, killing two children, reports said.
Police in Dayton responded to a complaint of a stabbing in the city soon after 7 p.m., but by the time they arrived, the suspect had already escaped, ABC News reported.
The man drove into nearby Riverside, Ohio, and slammed his car into a tree, according to the report.
Riverside police responded to the scene of the crash, and the suspect somehow got behind the wheel of one of their cruisers and raced out of the area.
He slammed into several cars on the road, killing two children and injuring at least 10 other people, WHIO TV reported.
Police arrested the man at the scene of the crash, with charges against him pending. His name was not immediately released.
