Don’t yank Trevor Jackson’s chain. Pulling on the “Grown-ish” star’s signature rattail may cause unexpected consequences.
“It’s dangerous,” the multitalented performer told The Post from his front-row perch at the Christopher John Rogers show. “I get turned on immediately,” he added with a grin.
The actor and singer decided on the hairstyle two years ago and hasn’t looked back. “I started growing it because I’m a huge Star Wars fan. Anakin Skywalker had the long braid — he felt very powerful but nobody was giving him the opportunity — and I saw similarities in my own life.”
The performer has a new, elegant name for his trademark coiffure. “We call it a dragon tail now. We’re rebranding,” said Jackson, who is working on season three of “Grown-ish” and shooting videos for his latest album, “Rough Drafts, Pt. 2.” “It sounds a little cooler,” he added.
