Just call her Lil’ Kim.
A UK baby was born with such a striking shock of jet-black hair that her parents have affectionately nicknamed her “Kim Jong Un,” after the North Korean dictator with a particularly unique hairstyle.
“It was such a shock,” says mom Samantha, who was floored when 7-pound-13-ounce Nell Purser-Barriff was born in October with a full head of hair, reports SWNS. Nell’s mop was so bountiful that when the Shropshire, England mother of three had an internal scan, she was told it “felt like she had hair.”
The tufty tyke was particularly perplexing as none of the other family members boasts such luxurious locks.
“Samantha and I weren’t hairy babies, so it’s not like it’s a family trait,” according to her husband Terry, 34. Her brother is also a total opposite as he’s “blond with fair skin,” says Sam, who adds, “It’s definitely the Mediterranean blood in her.”
The now 4-month-toddler’s mane has grown to a whopping 5 centimeters long. However, it hasn’t encumbered Nell, who “absolutely loves playing with it,” says Sam.
The Kim Jong Young-Un is not the only one who adores her hair — shopping takes twice as long due to all the compliments heaped on her heavily forested head, according to Sam.
“People are amazed by it,” says Terry. “We had one old woman fussing over Nell for a good 10 minutes before she turned to look at Cole [her brother] and brushed him off like ‘Oh yeah, he’s cute too.’ ”
Nell’s also not the only toddler with an amazing mane. Two years ago, another UK tot made waves for a mop-top that was so plush people thought it was a toupee.
