China on Wednesday ordered people arriving from other countries to be quarantined for 14 days to contain the coronavirus.
The number of new infections in China has dropped dramatically, but Wednesday saw a slight uptick in cases from abroad, reports said.
Officials said people arriving from “non-epidemic countries” will be held for 14 days in a hotel and undergo testing. Flights from the virus hot spots of Italy, Iran, South Korea and Japan will land at a separate area of Beijing’s airport.
