Louis Vuitton’s new bracelets benefit UNICEF
As part of its #MakeAPromise campaign, which raises funds for vulnerable children around the globe, French house Louis Vuitton is launching a wristwear capsule that’s as fashionable as it is charitable. Designed by men’s artistic director Virgil Abloh, the “Silver Lockit” bracelets weave bright nylon cords with bold silver links, finished with an LV charm and an engraved padlock. Each $440 bracelet sold unlocks a $100 donation to UNICEF.
JW Anderson launches its first flagship in London
British designer Jonathan Anderson just opened his first JW Anderson flagship, in London’s Soho neighborhood. Housed in an original Victorian corner property, the two-floor store boasts two distinct facades and “shops” — the Wardour Street side evoking a modern gallery and the Brewer Street side that feels like a posh Saville Row tailor’s studio. The 1,300-square-foot space carries menswear, womenswear and accessories, along with the brand’s white-hot collabs. Don’t come home without some Moncler Genius line.
Thom Browne partners with Nordstrom on an exclusive line
Bow wow. Thom Browne — who’s famous for redefining men’s suiting with his shrunken silhouettes — is teaming with mega retailer Nordstrom on an exclusive collection. The 30-piece offering, dubbed Concept 009, just launched in stores and online. It includes everything from keychains (shaped like Browne’s dachshund), bags and shoes to bucket hats, swim trunks and preppy polos, many striped in red, white and blue. But never fear: The designer’s iconic shorts suits are also joining the party.
