I have never had any motive other than that.”

Following Brady’s departure from New England, Guerrero noted in a September 2021 interview that the quarterback’s breakup with the Patriots was “a Bill thing.”

“He’s older, so he should be treated differently. And all the players, none of them would have cared that he was treated differently. I think that was such a Bill thing. He never evolved. So you can’t treat someone who’s in his 40s like they’re 20. It doesn’t work.”

“My playing career has been such a thrilling ride, and far beyond my imagination, and full of ups and downs. When you’re in it every day, you really don’t think about any kind of ending. I will remember and cherish these memories and re-visit them often. I feel like the luckiest person in the world.”
