A massive blaze engulfed a Williamsburg building early Tuesday, injuring six firefighters, officials said.
The flames erupted around 3:40 a.m. inside the three-story mixed-occupancy building on Grand Street near Union Avenue in Brooklyn, the FDNY said.
The fire spread through the entire building, home to an Argentinian restaurant on the ground floor and apartments above.
Six firefighters suffered minor injuries as they battled the smoky fire. They were transported to local hospitals, officials said.
Photos show evacuated residents standing on the sidewalk outside the building.
The blaze reached three alarms, drawing 33 FDNY units with 138 firefighters to the scene.
Smoke-eaters placed the fire under control by about 5:40 a.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
