But in a subsequent video, Sadie explained that her friend had introduced her to Zach when they were in the eighth grade.

And in response to the warnings about “bad luck” Sadie said: “I don’t believe in luck, I believe in God, the one who made our paths cross, the one who made us for each other.”

She also confirmed that Zach does, in fact, know her ring size, and that a shipping “miscommunication” resulted in his popping the big question with the ill-fitting token of affection. 

When asked if she was able to get the ring resized, Sadie said, “Yes, we did.

“We went the next day and they had it ready for me within hours,” she added. 

And despite the cloud of shade from negative commenters attempting to rain on her parade, Sadie, her fiancé and best friend have received a ton of praise for making the best out of a tough situation. 

“This is seriously the sweetest most loving thing I’ve seen in a while. Congratulations y’all,” said a kindhearted supporter of the trio. 

“I love how she continues to smile while her hand is the one being shot for the photo. congratulations,” penned another. 

And Sadie is nothing but grateful the moment was made into a special memory. 

“I cry every 10 minutes thinking about how sweet he made this day for us,” she said. “The day we waited for all along.”
