Eagles fans are already dealing with headaches – and the big game hasn’t even started yet.
Comcast/Xfinity is reporting outages in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia and promised to have the issue fixed by 6 p.m. — about 30 minutes before the Eagles and Chiefs kickoff in Super Bowl 2023.
The communications giant is headquartered in Philadelphia, of all places.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the outages began at approximately 1 p.m. and have gone through a series of pushbacks when it comes to estimated restoration times. It’s unclear what exactly caused the outages.
Eagles faithful are already irate over the calamity, with one fan saying “this is f–cking ridiculous” on Twitter.
Others are questioning if Comcast will have really fixed the incident in time – one fan claiming it’s the third outage in 30 days.

If fans don’t get their cable back before kickoff, they could always use a live stream through the Fox Sports app or YouTube TV.
