Russell Wilson, Ciara announce birth of daughter after huge Broncos win

It’s been a wild 24 hours for Russell Wilson.

On Sunday, he helped lead the Broncos to their sixth win in seven games, and on Monday he and his wife Ciara announced the birth of their third child on social media.

The couple welcomed the newest addition to their family, Amora Princess Wilson, 9 pounds, 1 ounce.

“We Love You so much!” Wilson and Ciara wrote in a joint Instagram post announcing the news.

“2 wins in less than 24 hours!” Wilson wrote in a separate post on X.

In the post, the infant is wearing a black onesie and a monogrammed hat with her name on it. Two hands can also be seen in the photo, presumably belonging to Ciara and Wilson.

The football star and singer also share two other children: daughter Sienna Princess, 6, and son Win Harrison, 3. Ciara also has a son Future Zahir, 9, that she shares with rapper Future.

Wilson and Ciara got married in 2016 and the couple announced in August they were expecting their third child in a post on Instagram.

Less than 24 hours before Monday’s announcement, Ciara had posted on social media pictures of her with her children at Sunday’s game between the Broncos and Chargers at SoFi Stadium.

“3 + 1,” she captioned the post on Instagram, along with an emoji of two hands making a heart.

She and the children were treated to another victory for Wilson and the Broncos moved into prime position to capture their first playoff berth since 2015. They’re a game behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West.

A New York Times simulator had the Broncos odds of making the postseason at 51 percent on Monday.

“We’re in a horse race,” Wilson told reporters Sunday after the win. “We’re three quarters of the way through and you have to finish the last quarter strong.”

Wilson threw two touchdown passes in Sunday’s 24-7 win, which included an impressive 46-yard TD pass in the third quarter.

The Broncos QB found Courtland Sutton in the end zone with 5:55 left in the third and Denver leading 10-0 already.

The throw traveled 60.8 yards in the air and was the longest touchdown by air distance this season, according to Next Gen Stats.

“That play doesn’t happen without the line. I think I had about 35 seconds back there on that play,” Wilson said about the highlight reel pass.
