Russell Wilson’s days in Denver look numbered, as favorites emerge to have the nine-time Pro Bowler behind center next season.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, who are scouring the market for a new face at quarterback at the start of the 2024 season, are the most likely team for Wilson’s services come fall, according to DraftKings.
The Steelers are -250 to be the next team Wilson takes a snap for, well ahead of the Las Vegas Raiders (+550) and Atlanta Falcons (+650), who are also top potential suitors.
The Broncos (+750) have the next-best odds but are seen as long shots to retain Wilson after his stunning benching by head coach Sean Payton down the stretch due to contractual issues.
The two sides could opt to restructure Wilson’s contract to stay with the Broncos, although it appears Payton would prefer to move on from the 35-year-old quarterback and start a new era in Denver, especially given Wilson’s cryptic messaging on social media in the days following.
