Iconic home from ‘Roseanne’ immediately finds a buyer after listing for $225K

This light-yellow home occupied by the fictional Conner family in ABC’s hit sitcom “Roseanne” needed hardly any time to find a new owner.

The property, which hit the market with a $225,000 ask last week, almost immediately found a buyer — and is now listed as pending sale. That said, the final sale price and the identity of the lucky new owner — or whether they’re a fan of the show — aren’t yet public.

Although the fictional family lives in the made-up town of Lanford, Illinois in the long-running TV show, this residence is located in Evansville, Indiana. (The setting isn’t entirely random; “Roseanne” creator Matt Williams is an Evansville native.)

“Our local community was really buzzing about this home being for sale again,” RE/MAX agent Doreen Hallenberger, the listing representative, told The Post. “The home went pending in two days and had thousands of views on my website.”

The 2,360-square-foot four-bedroom property at 619 Runnymeade Ave. looks positively ordinary — except that it is enormously famous. Its front exterior wasn’t just used in “Roseanne,” but also on the spinoff show “The Conners,” which is now in its sixth season.

Producers only used the residence’s front exterior; the interiors were filmed elsewhere, which is typical in film and television. Still, viewers will almost certainly recognize the home’s front porch.

The residence last listed for $129,000 in 2013, but that didn’t stop the show’s original star Roseanne Barr from expressing a desire to purchase the property in 2015, at which point it was off-market. 

“We flagged down a runner to take a picture of us on the front porch, sent her the tweet and said, ‘No, we live here,'” homeowner Joel Craig said at the time, 14News reported. 

Though less famous than the exterior, the interior is nothing to sniff at. There’s an unfinished basement and a main-level laundry room. Images also show a roomy kitchen, hardwood flooring and large picture windows that let in good sunlight.

What’s more, the home — built in 1925, according to the listing — even has a two-car detached garage, a fenced-in backyard and a new roof.
