Why is Taylor Swift counting down to 2 p.m. EST on her website?

Taylor Swift fans are anxiously counting down the hours, minutes and seconds for when she drops her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” on Friday.

The Grammy winner, 34, has added an actual clock to her website to help speed up time — but for a possible separate surprise.

The “For a Fortnight” page contains a countdown timer that is reeling off to 2 p.m. on Thursday.

The background of the site shows the singer’s favorite number, 13, as well as the letters “ttpd” — the initials of the record’s title — designed with typewriter font.

Swift also posted a video on social media Tuesday that showed a timetable for the album’s debut.

A clock was also positioned at 2:00 — seemingly the same hour that her “Anti-Hero” music video was released and the timer shown in her “Bejeweled” video.

Additionally, the Instagram clip had a typewriter similar to her website, as well as two desks.

The “Cats” star shared another hint regarding her music with a pop-up shop in Los Angeles on April 16.

She worked with Spotify for a special “library installation” at The Grove, where several Easter Eggs were allegedly hiding.

In one portion of the exhibit, a book showed lyrics for one anonymous song, with the words: “One less temptress. One less dagger to sharpen.”

The titles of some of Swift’s new tunes such “Down Bad,” “But Daddy I Love Him,” “Clara Bow” and “The Bolter” were scrawled around the event.

“Tortured Poets” is the “Bad Reputation” crooner’s news at the Grammy Awards in February.

While accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for “Midnights,” she noted that the album’s release.

“I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand-new album comes out April 19,” Swift said while cradling her lucky 13th gramophone. “It’s called ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’ I’m gonna go post the cover backstage.”

At the conclusion of her speech, she laughed and said she would be going backstage to post the record’s cover on her website.
