The Lions have locked up two of their building blocks for years to come.
In a flurry of deals reported on Wednesday, the Lions signed wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown to a four-year extension worth $120 million with $77 million guaranteed, and offensive tackle Penei Sewell to a new four-year deal worth $112 million with $85 million guaranteed.
The structure of the contracts should come out in the coming days to discern how much of the money is fully guaranteed versus guaranteed for injury.
St. Brown, a two-time Pro Bowler and was an All-Pro this past season, is entering his fourth season in the league.
Last season, he caught 119 passes for 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns.
