Jennifer Dulos’ mom says she believes Michelle Troconis ‘knows’ where her daughter’s body is — but won’t tell

The mother of Jennifer Dulos, who vanished from her Connecticut home five years ago, says she believes her estranged husband’s girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, lied to investigators and “absolutely” knows where her daughter’s body was dumped.

The slain woman’s mother, Gloria Farber, 89, said she believes Troconis withheld the truth investigators — but she does not think Troconis will ever share what happened to her 50-year-old daughter’s body, which has not been found.

“I think she knows where Jennifer is, or her remains,” Farber told WTNH of Troconis, who was found guilty in March of helping her now-deceased boyfriend Fotis Dulos cover up the 2019 murder of his estranged wife.

When asked whether she immediately suspected her daughter’s former husband, Farber said, “Yes I did.”

“And it’s just like, how it happened is just so horrendous. The poor thing. I mean, I just feel, I don’t know what made him just absolutely go off the rails,” she added.

Investigators believe Dulos, a 50-year-old mom of five, was attacked and killed by her estranged husband on May 24, 2019, and dumped somewhere with the help of his live-in-girlfriend Troconis, a Venezuelan socialite.

Troconis was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, evidence tampering and hindering prosecution after videos shown to the Stamford, Connecticut jury earlier this year revealed her riding around with her lover as he ditched bags of Jennifer’s bloody clothes.

Dulos’ mother, who now has custody of her children in New York City, said her daughter “always” amazed her and that she thinks of her daily.

“I think about her every day. She poured all her wisdom and all her joy into her children,” Farber said. “Her life was cut short, but she, in that short life, became a great person. She amazed me, she always amazed me.”

Dulos belonged to a wealthy New York family: Her father, Hilliard Farber, founded his own brokerage firm, and her aunt by marriage was the fashion designer Liz Claiborne.

Troconis faces up to 50 years behind bars.

She is set to be sentenced May 31.
