Oddsmakers aren’t ruling out Drew Lock being the Giants’ Week 1 starting quarterback.
DraftKings Sportsbook has Lock at +275 to be behind center when the Vikings visit MetLife Stadium on Sept. 8.
Sixth-year quarterback Daniel Jones remains the heavy favorite to lead Big Blue in Week 1, sitting at -425 to be the starter.
But after Jones dealt with a neck injury and a season-ending ACL tear in November, the door could open for Lock as fall approaches.
In March, Lock shut down rumors that he signed a one-year, $5 million deal to compete with Jones for the job.
“Daniel Jones is the starter of this team,’’ Lock said. “That’s been conveyed to me.
