Human leg washes up near famed NYC carousel — two days after parks worker found skull there: cops

A human bone washed up near the iconic Jane’s Carousel along downtown Brooklyn’s waterfront early Wednesday — two days after a parks worker discovered other skeletal remains there, cops said.

Cops spotted the bone — described as a human leg or part of one — along the East River shoreline on Water Street in DUMBO at around 12:20 a.m. when they responded to a 911 call, authorities said. 

The chilling find follows the Monday morning discovery of a skull and bones in the same area, cops said.

Those remains — stumbled upon by a city parks enforcement officer — were covered in clothing, sources said.

A pair of boots were also recovered nearby, according to the sources.

The NYPD said it was too early to determine whether the two grisly findings are connected. 

The city medical examiner’s office is investigating.
