Crazed nephew with 10 prior arrests beats aunt to death with broom inside her NYC apartment: cops
A crazed nephew beat his aunt to death with a broom after he flew into a rage Tuesday during an argument inside the woman’s home, authorities and sources said.
Alexander Fleming, 29, and his 55-year-old aunt Juanita Dallas were bickering inside the Jamaica home on 164th Street near 108th Street around 10:30 p.m. when Fleming suddenly walloped his aunt in the head with the broom, cops and sources said.
Dallas was rushed to North Shore University Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, police said.
Fleming was arrested later in the evening and charged with murder: depraved indifference, assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
He has 10 prior arrests, according to law enforcement sources, though details on those were not immediately known.
