Trump ally Alina Habba shoots down press secretary rumors: ‘Not a role I am considering’
President-elect Donald Trump’s former lawyer Alina Habba made clear early Thursday that she is not in the running to be his next White House press secretary.
“While I am flattered by the support and speculation, the role of Press Secretary is not a role I am considering,” Habba, 40, said on X of the post she was widely rumored to be getting.
“Although I love screaming from a podium I will be better served in other capacities,” she joked.

“This administration is going to be epic! So proud of the Trump team, the latest appointments and 47!”
It comes just days after Habba said she would “very seriously” consider the opportunity after being asked repeatedly during a Fox News appearance about recent reports that she was a front-runner for the role.
“I leave it to the president and the three people that are on my board of directors — that’s Luke, Chloe and Parker, my children. Everybody will know in time,” the attorney told host Sean Hannity.
