Influencer sparks fury after wearing ‘insane’ see-through dress to wedding
An Australian influencer has reignited the age-old debate about wedding guest etiquette after attending a friend’s nuptials in a completely see-through dress.
Jade Yarbrough opted for a $1000 outfit from Australian brand Carla Zampatti as she witnessed her friends Anthony Bell and Annika Martyn tie-the-knot on the weekend.
Wearing white or anything that “distracts from the bride” has long been deemed “bad form” by etiquette experts as it’s seen as a deliberate move to sabotage or ruin the wedding.
Because of this, Yarbrough’s pale blue gown – which is sold in three pieces, a pair of $99 “full briefs”, a matching $399 “mesh bodysuit” and a $499 statement skirt – has attracted criticism over its revealing nature.
Photos from the star-studded nuptials show the interior designer, who was filmed in a Noosa park stoush with her ex-Michael Clarke, had her lacy bra on full display in the gown.
The separate undies, an essential item in the 3-piece Zampatti set, were also visible under the pale blue mesh skirt.
