Luigi Mangione’s fingerprints match those on KIND bar, water bottle found near scene of Brian Thompson shooting
Luigi Mangione‘s fingerprints match those found on a KIND snack bar and a water bottle near the scene of the Manhattan shooting of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO, according to New York police.
Investigators are still trying to match Mangione’s prints to those found on the gun used in the fatal shooting of Brian Thompson, which was found on the suspected killer when he was arrested Monday in Pennsylvania. The three shell casings found at the scene match the gun, which was sent from Pennsylvania to the NYPD’s crime lab, NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said Wednesday.

Mangione purchased the KIND bar, bottle of water and a coffee from a Starbucks in Midtown just minutes before he allegedly gunned down the father of two as he walked to an investor’s conference at a Hilton hotel last Wednesday, sources have said.
New York City police officers discovered the snack bar, which was found in a nearby alleyway, and water bottle and submitted them as evidence as they investigated the murder, sources said.
Five days later, Mangione was finally busted at an Altoona, Pennsylvania, McDonald’s.
