The flick, a reboot of 1941’s “The Wolf Man,” which was deemed a “dark and toothless January mess,” $12 million through Monday.
“One of Them Days,” which Deadline called “an affable romp,” took second place, with sales of $4.4 million.
The female buddy comedy stars Keke Palmer and singer SZA in her film debut.
