Rob Gronkowski won’t be un-retiring for the second time.
The future NFL Hall of Fame tight end debunked the rumor circulating Tuesday that he had interest in returning to the NFL and the Broncos being high on his list.
“Crazy bro. They must know something about me that I don’t,” Gronkowski told Fox Sports about the report. “I wish I still had those powers, because that would be cool if I did. But I was just in Australia for a few days. Now it’s time to relax a little. No football.”
Gronkowski has settled quite nicely into his post-playing life, but he’s already shown that he’d be willing to return after a layoff.
The 35-year-old once faked a potential retirement to derail a potential trade to the Lions prior to the 2018 season. He ultimately stayed with New England.
