Sharon Stone claims she was ‘unexpectedly’ cut from ‘Another Simple Favor’: ‘For no reason at all’

They didn’t do her any favors. 

Sharon Stone slammed the movie “A Simple Favor” for allegedly cutting her role from the sequel. 

“I LOVED being cast and removed from my role unexpectedly for no reason at all LOVED it 👏👏👏👏,” Stone, 67, commented under an E! News Another Simple Favor.”

The Post reached out to Amazon MGM Studios for comment.

“Another Simple Favor” is set to be released on Prime Video on May 1. Blake Lively, 37, Anna Kendrick, 39, and Henry Golding, 38, are set to reprise their roles from the first movie, which came out in 2018. Paul Feig will return to direct. 

“A Simple Favor” was a black comedy/mystery about widowed mommy vlogger Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick), who becomes friends with Emily (Lively), the glamorous mom of her son’s classmate. Emily is also married to Sean (Golding). 

When Emily goes missing, it sets off a series of events that push Stephanie and Sean into a relationship, as Stephanie investigates what happened. 

The first movie ends with Emily revealing she’s alive – and she’s sent to prison –  Stephanie becoming a part-time private detective, and Sean finding more success as a professor. 

The sequel is about a murder happening at Emily (Lively’s) lavish wedding in Italy.

Stone’s casting hadn’t previously been reported, so it’s not clear what role the “Basic Instinct” actress would have played in the sequel movie. 

Stone’s social media post is just the latest drama in the press tour of “Another Simple Favor,” as there was legal drama with her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni.

On March 9, director Paul Feig denied the rumors at the premiere of “Another Simple Favor” at the South by Southwest Film & TV Festival.

YouTuber Melanie King claimed Lively was afraid to walk the red carpet because Kendrick was upset with her.

“I just revorted [sic] on Blake being terrified to walk the carpet as Anna is pissed and never wants to work with her again,” King posted on X, along with a selfie-style photo of Lively, Kendrick, Golding and Michele Morrone, 34, before they appeared on the carpet at SXSW.

Shortly after that post went up, Feig quoted the post on X, writing, “Um … you’re wrong.”

A source with knowledge of the actress’ interactions at the premiere agreed with the director’s characterization, telling The Post, “I think his quote says it all.”

At the red carpet, Kendrick also dodged a question that seemingly alluded to Lively’s drama with Baldoni.

“How does it feel like the movie’s being impacted by everything happening around, going on in the world?” a Variety reporter asked.

Kendrick responded, “Why, what happened? I did ayahuasca and the last year of my life is just gone.”

“But I’ve heard the movie is a-mazing,” she continued with a smile before blowing a kiss and walking away.
