How weather could affect 2025 Masters betting

The 2025 Masters is set to get underway Thursday, April 10, and by the looks of it, Mother Nature is going to be on her best behavior at Augusta National.

That may be disappointing news for golf fans who enjoy the chaos that can come with a rainy, windy Masters, like the one that Danny Willett won in 2016, but you won’t hear much complaining about the forecast for the next four days in Augusta.

Let’s take a look at what Mother Nature has in store for us this week:

Thursday, April 10

It should be a picturesque start to the Masters, with sunny, blue skies greeting the players and patrons on Thursday morning. 

There could be some clouds rolling in later in the day, but nothing ominous is predicted. 

The temperatures also seem quite agreeable, with the morning expected to be around 53 degrees Fahrenheit before ticking up towards 70 as we get through lunch.

There isn’t much wind predicted for Thursday, though the afternoon could see gusts of up to 20 mph.

Friday, April 11

There was some concern about the weather for Friday earlier in the week, but that seems to have settled now. 

There is still a 15% chance we will see some rain during Round 2, but that is a lot friendlier than it looked when the forecasts first came out a couple of days ago. 

The temperatures will also be a tad cooler than Thursday, and there will likely be high humidity during the morning.

There is also expected to be an uptick in wind speed, but nothing notable.

If this is the worst weather of the tournament, so be it.

Saturday, April 12

Saturday morning may be a little bit grey and humid, but there’s no precipitation in the forecast and the temperatures should be pretty comfortable in the high 50s. 

Things will only get better from there. 

The temperature is expected to rise while the humidity falls throughout the day, with the sun shining until play ends in the evening.

It’s a little dangerous to predict wind more than a couple of days out, but for now, the breeze looks to be unremarkable. 

Sunday, April 13

Sunday looks like it will be a painting.

The temperatures will hover around 50 degrees in the morning, but the sun will warm things up to close to 70 degrees by the time the leaders take the course.

Winds are projected to hover around 7 mph.
