NBA fans will be seeing plenty more of Michael Jordan this fall.
The NBA legend, 62, is joining NBC’s coverage of the league as a special contributor, the network announced Monday during its upfront presentation in New York.
“The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I’m excited about being a special contributor to the project,” Jordan said in a statement.
“I’m looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October.”
A six-time NBA champion and six-time NBA Finals MVP with the Bulls, Jordan played 15 seasons in the league and was named an All-Star 14 times. He also earned league MVP honors five times.
Jordan, who has never shown an inclination to be part of the media, has maintained a low profile since selling the Hornets in 2023 while enjoying a lavish lifestyle with his wife, Yvette Prieto.
The NBA announced a new 11-year media rights agreement with NBC last summer that would begin with the 2025-26 season.
