A $9 pizza in this economy? Popular pie seller just announced delivery for the first time ever — and fans are freaking out

This is big news for pizza lovers.

In a time when New York pizza is selling for $6 slices and $40 pies — the idea of a large $9 pizza in itself sounds glorious, but the fact that it can also be delivered — chef’s kiss.

Popular membership-only warehouse, Sam’s Club, just announced that their beloved $8.98 16-inch Hot Baked Pizza — a staple at the store’s food court — is available for home delivery.

The new offering is accessible through Delivery from Club — a service where members of the Walmart-owned store can have their purchases delivered straight to their home using either the Sam’s Club app or website.

Yes, there will be delivery fees, and it’s unknown what they are.

But even so, the total cost of a large pizza with a few extra dollars tacked on would still be a steal for food delivery in today’s crazy economy.

And if you’re really feeling wild — you can tack on a salad or a food-court beverage to your order for the ultimate night in.

In a press release, the store said customers didn’t want to leave their couches to be able to enjoy the beloved food-court menu item — and clearly Sam’s Club listened.

“When we talk about innovation, it’s not just about what’s new — it’s about what makes life easier for our members,” said Kurt Hess, Group Director, Operations and Implementation at Sam’s Club in the press release.

“Pizza delivery is a perfect example: it brings together value, convenience and one of our most-loved Café items in a way that fits how people shop today.”

Supposedly, this genie’s wish that came true is now available in most stores nationwide.

Fans of the warehouse giant’s pizza freaked out when the store announced the exciting news on their Instagram with the caption: “BIG NEWS: your favorite pizza can now come to you! No line, no wait, just hot, cheesy goodness delivered to your door.”
