Migrants busted in LA include convicted sex abusers, drug dealers and gang members: ICE
Illegal migrants arrested in Los Angeles in a series of ICE raids last week included convicted sex abusers, drug dealers and gang members, according to federal immigration authorities.
Nearly 45 people were busted Friday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement as officers swept through two Home Depot stores, a business in the fashion district and a doughnut shop, triggering riots over the weekend.
One of the migrants taken into custody has already been sent back to Mexico after being picked up at a Home Depot.
Another migrant, Rolando Veneracion-Enriquez, 55, of the Philippines has a lengthy rap sheet dating back years.
He was previously sentenced to four years in prison for burglary in Ontario, Canada, according to law enforcement sources.
