USMNT vs. Haiti: Gold Cup odds, picks, predictions

The United States Men’s National Team will wrap up the group stage of the 2025 Gold Cup with a match against Haiti on Sunday night at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. 

The USMNT has already clinched its spot in the knockout stage thanks to a pair of wins over Trinidad & Tobago and Saudi Arabia, while Haiti will need a win and some help to advance. 

The Americans are a -185 favorite to win the match on the three-way moneyline, with Haiti coming back at +460 and the draw sitting at +330.

As expected, Team USA’s win over Saudi Arabia on Thursday was a bit of a grind. The Americans were deserving winners, but it was far from a comprehensive victory, with a 63rd-minute header from Chris Richards serving as the difference.

Saudi Arabia was always going to try and stifle the Americans rather than take the game to them, but things could look quite different against Haiti, even though Les Grenadiers are big underdogs.

Not only do Haiti play with more risk in their game than Saudi Arabia does, but they also need to pull the upset to have a chance of advancing to the next round. 

And while it will still be a steep ask for Les Grenadiers to get the three points, they will have a shot considering the circumstances.

With their spot in the next round already secured, it is likely that the USMNT will rotate its squad, allowing its starters to get a breather before the quarterfinals. 

The Americans and Mauricio Pochettino want to make a statement in the Gold Cup after a turbulent few months, but that’s not as important as making sure that they’re fresh for the business end of the tournament.

After a snoozer against Saudi Arabia, Sunday’s match with Haiti could be a lot of fun. 

The Haitians will need to make a real go of it, which should lead to plenty of scoring chances at both ends of the pitch. While the Americans will be rotating in reserves, which should lead to some disjointed play from the favorites.

This match has all the right ingredients for a high-scoring affair.
