McDonald’s has revealed that Grimace is a tastebud, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

For decades, customers have speculated about what the amorphous character is supposed to be, with some theorizing that the purple personality was intended to represent a milkshake.

If the report is correct, it’s not the first time McDonald’s employees have declared Grimace is a tastebud.
