Long Island mom smashes 14-year-old girl in the head with Stanley cup during high school spat with her daughter: cops
A furious Long Island mom allegedly got mixed up in an argument between her daughter and a 14-year-old classmate — and wound up bashing the youngster in the head with a huge Stanley water cup until the teen was bloody, cops said.
Toni Monroe, 35, was busted after allegedly flipping into a rage when her 15-year-old daughter “began exchanging words” with the victim outside Brentwood High School around 11 a.m. Tuesday, Suffolk County police said in a release.
That’s when Monroe — who claimed she was at the building to complain about bullying during summer school — allegedly smashed the younger teen, leaving her with a gash to the head that required 17 stitches.
“Her mom just came in and started beating me with the cup,” the victim, identified as Madison Evans, told WABC’s Eyewitness News. “I took my head because I saw blood dripping. I took my head and I saw blood all over my hands.”
