Jay Cutler is now facing a civil lawsuit stemming from his 2024 DUI traffic collision in Tennessee after the person he rear-ended took action on Tuesday.
Perry Lee — the person driving the car Cutler hit — filed a lawsuit against the former Bears quarterback on Tuesday, US Weekly reported.
The lawsuit, which was viewed by the outlet, asserted that Cutler had been “at fault for the collision” and “failed to use reasonable and due care in the operation of the vehicle he was driving to avoid injury to other persons using the roadway, including [Lee].”
The Tennessean reported that Lee is seeking damages “in excess of $25,000.”

Lee is being represented by Morgan & Morgan founder John Morgan and lawyer Sydney Pierce in the case.
