Couple praised for taking 5-hour break on wedding day to do this: ‘This makes so much sense’
It’s their party and they’ll take a break if they want to.
While a couple’s wedding day is meant to be one of the best days of their lives — there’s no denying that it’s also an exhausting one.
To combat this, one couple decided to have a 5-hour gap in the middle of their destination wedding in Madrid, Spain, so they — and their guests — could “recharge their batteries.”
In a now-viral video posted to TikTok, foodie couple Felicia Lp, 27, and Harold Vasquez, 28, showed how they prioritized rest on their most special day — something more couples should be doing.
Overlay text on their video read, “When we made a 5-hour gap in our wedding itinerary so we could eat and recharge our social battery together,” among shots of them posing in their tux and gown, which suddenly changed to them in comfy clothes getting food to-go so they could lounge in bed munching before continuing their celebration.
