A stylish loft tied to a “Game of Thrones” actor — one that overlooks Union Square in the historic McIntyre Building — is on the market for the first time in almost a decade, Gimme Shelter has learned.
The sellers are Dutch actors Michiel Huisman, known for his role as Daario Naharis in the HBO series, and his wife Tara Elders, who ask $3.25 million for the residence.
Huisman, who had viewers swooning during the show’s run, played a sort of feminist lover/soldier who spoke truth to power while servicing the Queen. He is also a musician and songwriter. In addition to “Game of Thrones,” he also appeared in other HBO shows, like “Nashville,” “Treme” and “Orphan Black.” The couple share a daughter.
The building, at 874 Broadway between East 18th and 19th streets, also once served as home to the after-hours Cobra’s Lair in the 1970s, according to the listing, and was a block away from Andy Warhol’s Factory.
The couple bought the two-bedroom, two-bath corner co-op for $2.2 million in 2016.
