It feels like such a basic, simple goal, because that’s exactly what it is: 

A basic, simple goal. 

Back-to-back victories. This shouldn’t be a lot to ask for, right? Even bad teams have winning streaks. The 1962 Mets, the gold (or zinc) standard for losing teams of all stripes, actually had two three-game winning streaks.
