Aaron Judge has his huge Yankees moment with game-tying home run

This is the Aaron Judge playoff moment the Yankees have been waiting for.

The Yankees slugger, with his team trailing 6-3 in the fourth inning of Tuesday’s Game 3, smacked a majestic three-run homer off the left-field foul pole to tie the game. He finished the night 3-for-4 with four RBIs as the Yankees kept their season alive with a 9-6 win over the Blue Jays.

Judge was down 0-2 in the count to reliever Louis Varland, who had entered specifically to face the Yankees outfielder.

Varland fired a 99.7 mph inside fastball, and Judge turned on the pitch — that appeared off the strike zone — high off the foul pole before it careened back down onto the field as Yankee Stadium exploded.

While Judge has continued to hit well this postseason, the Yankees and their hungry fans have waited for a signature moment in the clutch like this one.
