tRY IT NOWBut Sherwood has struggled during the 2025 season and is part of the reason why the Jets defense has played so poorly through five games.
Jets coach Aaron Glenn said Sherwood has played well but did acknowledge that he might be pressing.
“Sometimes when you have that ‘C’ on your chest, sometimes when you get that big contract, sometimes you feel like you need to do more,” Glenn said. “But it’s easy to get him dialed back. “I like where he’s at. Obviously, he can do some things better along with a lot of us. I think you’re going to see a guy that’s going to continue to improve because of where his mindset is right now.”
