Child abuser dad Jake Haro pleads guilty to torturing and murdering missing son Emmanuel — whose body still hasn’t been found

Child abuser dad Jake Haro sobbed as he admitted Thursday to torturing and murdering his defenseless 7-month-old son, Emmanuel — whose tiny body still has not been found.

Haro, 32, copped to a second-degree murder charge as well as to charges of assault causing bodily harm to a child and filing a false report during a hearing in Riverside County Superior Court in California on Thursday morning, KABC reported.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 3 in the horrifying case.

His wife, Rebecca Haro, who is also charged with murder, pleaded not guilty to an updated criminal complaint.

Emmanuel was reported missing in Cabazon, Calif., on Aug. 14 by his 41-year-old mom, who claimed she was attacked by Hispanic men who abducted their baby outside a sporting goods store in San Bernardino.

But police soon said they didn’t believe the Haros’ version of events, and when detectives pointed out inconsistencies in their story, the parents clammed up.

Cops stormed the Haros’ home and arrested them on Aug. 22.

The pair was charged a few days later on Aug. 26 in the case that has captivated and horrified the nation since.

Jake allegedly admitted to a fake, police-planted inmate that he killed Emmanuel and dumped the baby’s body in a trash can, a source told NewsNation.

He also told cops he accidentally smothered the boy while he was sleeping and buried his body, the source said.

The duo carried out the crimes “with planning, sophistication and professionalism,” and they took advantage of the position of trust as parents, preying on a “particularly vulnerable” victim, their baby boy, the updated complaint from Thursday alleges.

Jake has a previous conviction for child abuse and was sentenced to probation — which he was still serving when he killed his son, prosecutors allege.

In the prior case, he viciously beat his 10-week-old daughter Carolina, leaving her disabled for life.

The girl, whom he had with his ex-wife, has cerebral palsy and is now permanently bedridden, prosecutors said.
