Former ‘Today’ show host Bryant Gumbel, 77, hospitalized in NYC: report
Legendary broadcaster Bryant Gumbel was reportedly rushed to the hospital Monday evening after suffering a “medical emergency” at his Manhattan apartment.
The 77-year-old former “Today” show cohost, who was hauled out of his apartment on a gurney, remained hospitalized on Tuesday, sources told TMZ.
His exact condition and what he is being treated for is unclear.
But a family member assured that Gumbel is “okay,” the outlet reported.
Gumbel, who retired from broadcasting in 2023, previously battled lung cancer in 2009.
