Inside June Lockhart’s surprising wild side — including her love for rock and roll
June Lockhart lived life on the wild side.
The actress best known for her roles as a mom in “Lassie” and “Lost in Space” and who died Thursday at age 100 had a surprising passion for rock and roll
“I have been a music fan forever,” Lockhart told Fox News Digital in 2024. “The Beatles, Stones, Chicago, David Bowie, Huey Lewis and the News, Tina Turner.”
“We threw a Halloween party at my home in the late ‘60s, and I hired a band called Hour Glass,” she recalled. “They were fantastic. Truly talented guitars, keyboards and vocals . . . then they changed their name to The Alman Brothers Band!”
