Fuming Aaron Rodgers has NSFW reaction to dropped touchdown pass in Steelers loss

NFL lip-readers certainly had a field day Sunday night.

A fiery Aaron Rodgers had some choice words after a would-be touchdown pass to Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf was dropped in the first half against the Packers, resulting in the ex-Green Bay quarterback uttering a vulgar response on the “Sunday Night Football” broadcast.

As Pittsburgh’s field-goal unit lined up at Acrisure Stadium, the broadcast focused on Rodgers, who appeared to say “f–king c–ks–ker.”

Rodgers — in his first season with the Steelers and potentially the final year of his NFL career — eventually connected with Metcalf in the second quarter to give Pittsburgh a 16-7 edge entering halftime.

The Packers then mounted a second-half comeback to take down their former quarterback, 35-25.

Sunday’s primetime clash between the Steelers and Packers packed plenty of intrigue as Rodgers, 41, spent the first 18 years of his Hall of Fame career in Green Bay.

He guided the team to a Super Bowl win in February 2011 and won four league MVP titles along the way.

Rodgers was traded to the Jets after the 2022 season and spent two forgettable seasons in New York before signing a one-year deal with the Steelers in the offseason.

With Sunday’s loss dropping the Steelers to 4-3, Rodgers said both sides of the ball have “got to get on the same page” as a clash against the 7-1 Colts looms.

“We can’t beat ourselves,” said Rodgers, who went 24-for-36 and 219 yards against his former team.

“I think in the three losses, there’s been times where we’ve had opportunities and we’ve hurt ourselves with turnovers or just negative plays. So we got to cut those out. We got to get on the same page on offense and defense and keep the faith.”
