NFL lip-readers certainly had a field day Sunday night.
A fiery Aaron Rodgers had some choice words after a would-be touchdown pass to Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf was dropped in the first half against the Packers, resulting in the ex-Green Bay quarterback uttering a vulgar response on the “Sunday Night Football” broadcast.
As Pittsburgh’s field-goal unit lined up at Acrisure Stadium, the broadcast focused on Rodgers, who appeared to say “f–king c–ks–ker.”
Rodgers — in his first season with the Steelers and potentially the final year of his NFL career — eventually connected with Metcalf in the second quarter to give Pittsburgh a 16-7 edge entering halftime.
The Packers then mounted a second-half comeback to take down their former quarterback, 35-25.
