Millenials mercilessly mocked by Gen Z, Alphas for this common photo pose

They’re doing 30-somethings dirty.

For millennials, transitioning from the cool kids at the top of the generational food chain into nearly middle-aged workhorses who oft find themselves saying, “you know, back in my day…” has been no laughing matter. 

Still, the teens and 20-somethings of Gen Z are constantly finding new reasons to laugh at people born before 1997.

And now, the Zoomers’ latest jab is aimed at the tight-lipped way their predecessors smirk in snapshots. 

“Millennials, gather around, because I just found out that we are being bad fun of for something called the ‘millennial smile,’”Jasmine, a lifestyle influencer, from Texas, announced to over 555,000 video viewers. 

It’s a look that sees Y2Kers coyly purse their lips, tilt their heads and cut a barely-there grin. 

Think Ben Stiller’s “Blue Steel” pucker in “Zoolander” — but slightly less intense.

Without showing any teeth or over-puffing their cheeks, millennials — mostly unwittingly — made the facial expression famous in selfies, bathroom mirror pics, MySpace, Facebook and Instagram posts all through the 2010s. 

But now, what was once a hit in photos shared online has become a shady punchline thanks to team Z, which seemingly enjoys making 30- and 40-somethings feel even older than they already do on their own. 

“I know I’ve done that before,” admitted Jasmine of the cutesy pose. “Damn, [the Gen Zs] are really clocking me.”

It’s sad, but true.

Like quickly rising to usurp their throne. 

The fight for the No. 1 spot notwithstanding, millennials, like Jasmine, are remaining unfazed by the Gen Z hate. 

“They hate us cuz they ain’t us!!!!,” cheered a TikTok commenter beneath the trending clip.
