Get over it, Goldberg — your gripes about WWE and Asuka are a terrible look

Bill Goldberg just can’t seem to let it go, and it got the perfect WWE response.

The WWE Hall of Famer and WCW legend apparently can’t get over the fact that he no longer holds the kayfabe wrestling winning streak record — even if he didn’t actually win all those matches, as his streak was grossly inflated for dramatic effect.

What makes it worse is that Goldberg is so salty about it that he either refuses to call Asuka by name or just refuses to learn it, referring to her as “some Japanese girl” and “some girl” the two times he’s brought her up in interviews about breaking his 173-0 streak over 461 days. Asuka won more than 230 matches over 914 days without being pinned or submitted.

Goldberg mentioned Asuka, whom he has said he holds nothing against, during a chat last week on “Real Talk with Mike Burke”, during which he insinuated WWE had someone break his streak “on purpose” because of how badly he and WCW used to beat them in the ratings during the “Monday Night Wars.”
