Panicked 911 callers detail carnage after NJ teen girls fatally hit by ‘stalker’: ‘Everyone’s done, not moving’
Panicked 911 callers described the carnage and chaos after two New Jersey teen girls were fatally mowed down by a crazed “stalker” — as police records reveal the twisted 17-year-old driver was initially released to his ex-cop dad without being charged.
The deadly scene unfolded on a quiet Cranford street Sept. 29 after Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas, both 17, were allegedly targeted by Vincent Battiloro, who is accused of stalking one of the victims.
Numerous 911 calls flooded into dispatch, with shocked bystanders relaying that two victims were on the ground on Maria’s block after they were run over by a black SUV.
One of the horrified witnesses was a relative of Maria, but the call was disconnected, the Niotis family told The Post Wednesday.
Attorney Brent Bramnick declined to say which family member dialed for help.
