Virginia Giuffre’s family celebrates her ‘courage’ after Prince Andrew’s humiliating downfall: ‘Brought down’ a royal

The family of the late Virginia Giuffre – who has claimed she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew as a teenager – credited her with taking down “a British prince with her truth.”

Giuffre’s relatives declared “victory” over Andrew on Thursday after he was stripped of his royal title and hailed her “extraordinary courage,” vowing to make sure “the same accountability applies” to all those tied to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

“Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage,” the family said in a statement to The Post.

“Virginia Roberts Giuffre, our sister, a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, never stopped fighting for accountability for what had happened to her and to countless other survivors like her. Today, she declares victory,” the statement continued.

The ex-Duke has continually denied allegations made by Giuffre — who took her own life earlier this year.

“We, her family, along with her survivor sisters, continue Virginia’s battle and will not rest until the same accountability applies to all of the abusers and abettors connected to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell,” the statement signed by her brothers and sister-in-laws, Sky and Amanda Roberts, and Danny and Lanette Wilson, said.

In her memoir “Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice,” Giuffre detailed her horrifying encounters with Andrew, who creepily kissed her feet before allegedly abusing her when she was just 16 years old.

“He was friendly enough, but still entitled — as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright,” Giuffre wrote in an excerpt published by the Guardian.

The royals have faced renewed pressures in recent months following fresh allegations that Andrew maintained ties with Epstein years after he claimed to have severed communication.

The Buckingham Palace ruled that Andrew will no longer be a prince and will have to move out of his Royal Lodge home, according to a statement provided to BBC News on Thursday.

The late Queen’s son will have his title stripped and now be known as “Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.”

The disgraced royal will also be forced to vacate his taxpayer-subsidized Royal Lodge home of more than 20 years.

Though the statement refrained from naming Epstein or the allegations against him, it did allude to his sex scandals.

“Their majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse,” the Palace statement reads.

previous statement issued by Andrew several weeks ago, where he announced he was giving up his Duke of York title and honors, made no mention of victims or survivors.
