If you’re not down with that, Joel Embiid’s got two words for you — “lewd gesture.”
Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid promptly clapped back at the NBA after getting fined $50,000 for making a “lewd gesture” on the court during the team’s 109-108 home loss to the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
The league announced his penalty on Sunday afternoon, stating the incident occurred with 7:08 left in the first quarter, when the All-Star big man drilled an and-one jump shot and celebrated with a crotch-chop.

Embiid responded on social media within the hour, mocking the fine and likening his gesture to a referee signal.
