Justin Fields said Wednesday he does not know if he will be the starting quarterback for the Jets on Sunday when they face the Browns.

“We’ll see,” Fields said.

Jets coach Aaron Glenn said Monday that he would not announce whether Fields or Tyrod Taylor would start this week.

Fields is expected to start after he played a strong game before the bye week against the Bengals.

Fields went 21-of-32 for 244 yards and one touchdown in the first Jets win of the season.

Presumably, Fields and Taylor already know who the starting quarterback is but Glenn is playing a cloak and dagger game with the Browns.

Fields said he believes the Jets can build on their Week 8 performance in Cincinnati.

“I think we’ve been building on everything since Week 1,” Fields said. “We have a lot of games that were one-score games and we just happen to be on the other side of the one-score game this time. We know games are going to be like that week in and week out. I think the biggest thing is just building on that win and just taking that momentum into this week.”

Taylor was a full participant in practice Wednesday, so his knee injury does not appear to be a factor this week. The Jets nearly benched Fields for Taylor before the Bengals game but he was not healthy enough to play.

Former Jets DT Quinnen Williams met with the media in Dallas on Wednesday, one day after being traded to the Cowboys. He was asked about his frustration with all the losing he did with the Jets and whether he wanted out.

“They knew I was frustrated,” Williams said. “I think the world knew I was frustrated being there so long and still losing. Like I said, any ultra competitor, man, any guy who played this game to win, is going to be frustrated no matter if you win 100 games and lose that one. Or when I was at ’Bama and went 16-1 and lost the national championship, I was frustrated. So but the relationship itself has never bent, has never broken.”

WR Garrett Wilson (knee) was a limited participant in practice for the first time since he suffered the injury in London on Oct. 12. … LB Kiko Mauigoa (concussion) was also limited. … The four players the Jets acquired in trades all practiced Wednesday — WR Adonai Mitchell, WR John Metchie III, DT Mazi Smith and CB Ja’Sir Taylor. … The Jets signed safety Dean Clark to the active roster and placed S Andre Cisco on injured reserve. They also signed S Jarius Monroe to the practice squad.
