Younghoe Koo likes chicken parmigiana with vodka sauce.

Koo likely will never become the one-in-a-thousand North Jersey local turned viral Giants star that Tommy DeVito was with his pinched-fingers touchdown celebration and love for his mother’s homemade chicken cutlets, but Koo will be excited if he is kicking for the hometown team Sunday against the Bears.

“I grew up right by [here],” the Ridgewood High School product said. “At the same time, field, football, uprights, none of that changes, right? So, you’ve just got to get the job done.”

Koo will be elevated from the practice squad and called upon if Graham Gano (herniated disc in his neck) is unavailable.

Koo was signed Sept. 23 — shortly after he was cut by the Falcons — but was bypassed for Jude McAtamney when the Giants needed a four-game fill-in for Gano earlier this season.

Koo said he has no ill will toward the Giants for trying McAtamney, who missed two PATs in a 33-32 loss to the Broncos, over him.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity,” Koo said. “I’ve been making it count every week.”

Does the eight-year veteran have a chip on his shoulder to show that he still can be 85.8 percent effective on field goals?

“As a competitor, that’s there,” Koo said. “Definitely want to get on the field and just show what I can do.”

If Koo kicks, he will be the seventh different player to attempt a PAT or field goal during a trying three-year period when Gano has dealt with a multitude of injuries and death threats from angry fans.

“Koo has kicked really well, so we’d have ultimate confidence with him going out there,” special teams coordinator Michael Ghobrial said. “He has the experience of being in a lot of NFL stadiums. Coming here, understanding the operation, getting his specific hold the exact way that he wants it, I think was important. It’s been very rhythmic, and it’s been replicated over and over again to where it’s consistent now.”

In the first game without RB Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy Jr. started but was out-snapped (32-25) by Devin Singletary.

Don’t read too much into that distribution.

“Tracy’s going to be the starter, and he’s done a really good job with his opportunities,” offensive coordinator Mike Kafka said. “I think when you get into the flow of the game sometimes and when you’re playing fast, it’s hard to kind of keep track of the number count.”

CB Cor’Dale Flott cleared the concussion protocol and will play Sunday against the Bears after missing last game. That is a huge update with CB Paulson Adebo (knee) still among seven injured players who did not practice.

LT Andrew Thomas did not practice as a veteran’s rest day.

Three Giants on the mend: TE Theo Johnson (shoulder) and DT Rakeem Nunez-Roches (elbow) were upgraded from limited participants to full participants, and RT Jermaine Eluemunor (pec) practiced in a limited fashion for the first time this week.
